Homeowners across the GTA often ask what actually happens on installation day. Here’s the full process from start to finish.
1. Free on-site measurement
We visit your property, measure every roofline that will be lit, note roof pitch and access points, and talk through colour, trim-matching, and zone options. This is also when we confirm power supply locations and any special considerations for rural properties or outbuildings.
2. Fixed, itemized quote
You receive a clear price broken down by materials and labour, not a vague estimate. No surprise charges once work begins.
3. Scheduling
Most residential installs are booked within a few weeks, though the ideal window is late summer through early fall before the holiday rush (see our guide to timing your installation).
4. Installation day
Most homes are completed in a single day. The crew mounts the colour-matched aluminum channel along your fascia or roofline, runs and conceals wiring, installs the controller and power supply, and tests every zone before wrapping up. Larger or more complex properties may take two days.
5. App setup and walkthrough
Before we leave, we set up the control app on your phone and walk you through colours, schedules, and presets, so you’re fully comfortable using it that night.
6. Ongoing support
Every install includes a 50,000-hour LED warranty and multi-year component warranty, plus support if you ever want to adjust settings or add zones later.
